For men: 2 sets of white Ihram garments, comfortable sandals, and casual clothing for non-ritual days. Bring light, breathable fabrics suitable for hot weather.
Toiletries & Personal Care
Unscented soap, shampoo, and deodorant are essential during Ihram. Pack sunscreen (SPF 50+), lip balm, and a small first-aid kit. Wet wipes are invaluable.
Electronics & Communication
Bring a universal power adapter (Saudi uses Type G), portable charger, and your phone. Consider a local SIM card for cheaper calls and data.
Documents to Carry
Passport, visa printout, vaccination certificate, hotel confirmations, agency contacts, and travel insurance documents. Keep photocopies separately.
What NOT to Bring
Don't pack perfume or scented products, excessive clothing, large amounts of cash, or items you can easily buy in Makkah like prayer mats and caps.
