The meningitis ACWY vaccine is mandatory for all pilgrims entering Saudi Arabia. It must be administered at least 10 days before arrival. Without this certificate, your visa may be rejected.

COVID-19 vaccination requirements change periodically. Check the latest Saudi Ministry of Health guidelines before travel. Your agency should provide current requirements.
Recommended Vaccinations
Seasonal flu vaccine is strongly recommended as Hajj/Umrah involves close contact with millions of people. Pneumonia vaccine is recommended for elderly pilgrims. Ensure routine vaccinations are up to date.
Where to Get Vaccinated
In Bangladesh, visit the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) or authorized travel health clinics. They provide the required yellow international vaccination card.
Documentation
Keep your yellow vaccination card with your passport. Some pilgrims also carry a digital copy on their phone. Your agency will need copies for visa processing.
